There are some diseases that are commonly found or particularly deadly to cats and dogs.
What Vaccines Are Right Vaccines for Your Pet?
At easyvet Katy, we follow AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) guidelines to make sure that your pet receives the safest and most effective vaccinations. During your pet’s visit, our veterinarians will discuss their background, health history, and daily environment to determine which vaccines are necessary.
For added safety and to prevent unnecessary vaccination, we may perform snap tests before administering certain vaccines. As an example, a FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) snap test, which is part of a Feline Combo test, is recommended before vaccinating adult cats who haven’t been previously tested. Once all necessary information is gathered, we will recommend a customized core and non-core vaccination schedule to keep your pet protected year-round.
